Morning Came too soon but I didn't feel the worse for last nights wear. We made the first game by half time. Florida State made a game of it but Wake Forest proved too much in the end and the Senimoles fell to defeat. Game 2 was what we came for and the Wolfpack of N.C. State did not disappoint. Despite falling asleep during the first five minutes of the second half (the team, not me)and blowing a 12 point lead, they put away a very good Georgia Tech team.
The show at "the Pourhouse" in Raleigh had over 200 in attendance and we had a ball. Dougaroo celebrated his 17th wedding anniversary by bringing along his wife to the show. He also brought along a couple of pounds of eastern N.Carolina style BBQ. The stuff is great and unique to this part of the state, using a vinegar base as opposed to the tomatoe base used in the western part of the state or the mustard based BBQ of South Carolina.
The crowd was just great and I thought we played great as well. Tommorrow on to one of my favorite towns, Charleston, South Carolina!
