Once again Kroghs starts out as a pain in the ass.The tables are not cleared from the stage area until well past 10:30pm! We have a nice crowd that includes fans from RRE, Kings In Disguise and Bobby Syvarth. The first set is all Bobby tunes and they go over well. Mike gets the sound humming and we’re sounding good although unrehearsed.
Set 2 starts with a duet featuring John and I on “Midnight on the Water/Bonaparte's Retreat”. It’s nice to stand right next to the boy and go toe to toe instead of the cross stage stuff we do with RRE. Next we do 4 of my tunes including my latest, “Flowers Between The Stones”. They go over well and we finish up with a couple of Bobby tunes and call it a wrap. All the musicians make a little money and everyone has a great time. I get to do a little front man stuff where I trash the Bush administration. That’s like shooting fish in a barrel but more fun!
