Just a few days home and we’re back at it. The first two shows on this run are in Pennsy so I try to figure a way to get home in between shows. I couldn’t get a lift to Phillie the second night so I resolve to stay on board for the tour.
First stop is the Brewery in State College. It’s a little place below street level. A kinda black hole sorta college dive that isn’t necessarily the kind of place we desire to play.
Diner was Creole and terrific! There was a nice vibe in the place and the owner and crew were great folks. It turned out to be pretty cool gig. My philosophy has always been to play as if you were playing for the Queen no matter who’s in the room or how many.
