Drive, drive, drive. We are going straight through to Austin, Texas and the Old Settlers Bluegrass Festival. Thank God for our kind fans and Gayle Kaufman who have provided us with a comfy ride. We watched “The Lord Of The Rings”; listened to George Harrison’s new CD and generally had a fine old time motoring down an exceedingly boring roadscape.
We get to Austin around midnight and crash. Carey and Mike take the truck down to the festival site to get the lay of the land. Sleeping is my priority.
